‘We’re England (The Second Star)’, by Dead Ball Specialists, is a charity World Cup song that celebrates the true multi-cultural nature of England.

NOW SUPPORTED BY THE FA’s OFFICIAL WORLD CUP 2018 BID!

This anthem was created as an online collaboration between a diverse group of football loving musicians and friends. It goes on sale at Amazon UK & Napster on Wed 2nd June with an itunes release to follow.

Historically, this country has been forged and made stronger by immigration and integration – even the Angles & Saxons weren’t originally from here. Being English is less about passports and more about tolerance, inclusion and mutual respect. We believe that pride in our country isn’t incompatible with recognising and appreciating who we really are. We’re more than a football team – I’m England, we’re England, each one us and were proud.

All profits will go to Carers UK, a charity which helps those who care for a friend or relative who is less able to care for themselves. There are 2 million new carers each year and the health and social issues this presents are only going to become more important to the nation. Help us to bring this song to the country by
- buying the track
- passing the word on to your friends
- and declaring your support for the team by joining our Facebook site

Don’t let anyone tell you who is or isn’t England. Post a photo telling us what being England means to you. Show us your pride, tell us why you’re England. You can also post video, audio, anything you want.
